Mientras rueda la obra su vida, al igual que una calesita, sube y baja entre sus deseos de perfección, su vida íntima y una hija que entabla una relación exótica.
Buenas actuaciones, humor sobrio y el ambiente austero que siempre nos trae el cine europeo.
La pregunta que uno se hace cuando ve este buen cine italiano es porque no acudimos más a él.

Nanni Moretti knows about directing and acting and has already demonstrated it in “Tres Pisos”, a participant in the Cannes and Seville Festivals.

In “The Best is Yet to Come” he puts himself in the shoes of a film director who wants to recreate the romantic atmosphere of the communist movement in Italy, to which he adheres.

As the play rolls, his life, like a merry-go-round, goes up and down between his desires for perfection, his intimate life and a daughter who enters into an exotic relationship.

Good performances, sober humor and the austere atmosphere that European cinema always brings us.

The question you ask yourself when you see this good Italian cinema is why we don’t go to it more.
